She is one of Spain's most celebrated singers, she is honored by Eurochannel with her own special. In Bebe, the channel presents an exclusive interview with the star along with music videos of her most famous songs, including Malo, La Bicha, Me Fui and Pa Mi Casa.
Bebe was born Nievas Rebolledo Vila on May 9th 1978 in Valencia, Spain, to two members of the hit folk group Suberina. Bebe inherited her parent's musical gift, and in 2004 she released the breakout album Pafuera Telarañas (2004). This album, which earned her great fame and recognition, is loved for its bold, yet sensitive songs which address the suffering and abuse, both mental and physical, which too many women endure. “Malo”, the most famous song on the album, won her five Latin Grammy nominations, including Best New Artist and Song of the Year.
Not content with just those awards, Bebe decided to focus on her other talents, and began a career as an actress, working next to stars like Ricardo Darin, Charlotte Rampling, and Irene Jacob. As an actress, she is best known for her performance in the film, The Education of Fairies (2006) directed by José Luis Cuerda, an adaptation of the book by Didier Van Cauwelaert.
In 2009, she returned to the music scene, releasing a new album which featured hits such as Me Fui and La Bicha. In March of 2010, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Candela, heralding the beginning of a new chapter in her remarkable life and career.
